About the event

The Book Fair begins Monday, October 25th! Usborne books are engaging and interactive for all ages. These books have great illustrations, bright colors, and are of high quality. The books cover a wide variety of topics, include activity books to fiction series, and several books contain internet-linked encyclopedias and resources. Usborne Books offers Somos Amigos a 50% match on all of the profits from the book sales, which will enable us to receive free books to replenish the various classrooms.

4 Easy Ways to Order Books!

  • 1. BOOK BOOTH: Schedule a time with Maestra Karim to stop by Somos Amigos to peruse the book booth; a limited supply of books will be available. If you are not comfortable entering the school, no fret! These books are listed at the Virtual Book Booth link below and available for immediate purchase with free next day pick up.
  • 2. ONLINE ORDER: All online orders will be shipped directly to your home and subject to shipping is a flat rate $6.95 on orders up to $87; 8% of the total thereafter. Be sure to select Somos Amigos as your event when you checkout.**
  • 3. PAPER ORDER: Select books from the catalog and submit a paper order form with an active email address and phone number. There are NO SHIPPING charges associated with paper orders. The following payment methods are allowed for paper orders: Cash (exact amount), and Checks (payable to Amanda Doughty) and Credit Card. Venmo and PayPal options are available upon request; provide appropriate email and/or handle name and indicate Venmo or PayPal on the order form.*
  • 4. CLASSROOM WISH LIST: Do not forget about your teacher's wish list! Whether you are shopping online or submitting a paper order, speak with your consultant to donate $5, $10, $15, $20 or any desired amount to a classroom. All monetary donations will go towards the purchase of books for your teacher's class. Or if you are shopping online you can add a teacher's book(s) directly to your shopping cart.
